We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Officer to join a leading Aged Care provider based in the heart of Adelaide CBD. This is a critical role ensuring our hardworking frontline staff are paid accurately and on time.

Initially offered as a full time temporary contract, this position has a strong possibility of transitioning into a permanent role for a candidate who demonstrates excellence and a great cultural fit.

Key Responsibilities

• End to end processing of weekly and fortnightly payroll for a diverse workforce.

• Interpretation and application of complex Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements.

• Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

• Responding to payroll queries from staff and management with a customer-service mindset.

• Assisting with month-end reporting and superannuation reconciliations.

What You Bring

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Award Expertise: Demonstrated experience or a very strong working knowledge of Modern Awards.

• Industry Experience: Prior experience in Aged Care, Health, or NDIS environments is highly regarded.

• Systems Savvy: Proficiency in mid to large scale payroll software and Microsoft Excel.

• Attention to Detail: A right first time approach to data entry and calculations.

Compliance Requirements

As this role is within the Aged Care sector, the successful candidate must hold (or be willing to obtain):

• NDIS Worker Screening Check

• Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Registration

• National Police Clearance
